Dragonfly is an innovative technology revisiting VR movies experience.
Dragonfly Technology provides a set of tools to produce and play “Volumetric Videos”. Unlike 360 degree videos, volumetric videos provide more degrees of freedom by introducing a parallax which is essential to get an immersive experience. The parallax removes the constraint of having a camera located at a fixed point in the space and the benefit is a feeling of being in the videos. Dragonfly supports computer generated (CG) videos. It has been implemented successfully in Unreal Engine 4 and is compatible with Oculus headsets (DK2 & Rift).
Dragonfly Technology enables VR users to become the new director of their video by changing the way they watch it.
